Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Civil Defence has warned residents to exercise caution as thunderstorms are forecast for most regions until Wednesday.
In these areas, residents have been urged to stay in safe locations and stay out of flood-prone areas, such as water swamps and valleys, emphasizing the risks associated with swimming in them.
It is important for residents to stay informed about weather conditions by following media announcements.
Mecca, Taif, Maysaan, Adham, Al Ardiyat, and Al Kamel will be affected, along with Asir, Jazan, and Al Baha. This may escalate to torrential rains, accompanied by hail and strong winds that could whip up dirt and dust.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected in the Mecca region, including Al Jamoum, Bahrah, Al Qunfudhah, Al Layth, as well as Medina, the Northern Borders and Hail.
In addition, light rain is forecast over northern border regions such as Al Jouf, Tabuk, and Al Sharqiyah.
