Saudi Red Crescent Authority spokesperson Khaled Al-Sahli explained on 18th March that an ambulance team stationed at the Prophet's Mosque fainted while performing Friday prayers.
The ambulance team handled the case directly and transferred the patient to Madina General Hospital immediately, according to Al-Sahli.
Several pages and users of social media circulated rumors with an image that stated a person died at the Prophet's Mosque in weakness during Friday prayer on 18th March 2022.
Through a tweet, the Red Crescent spokesperson in the Madina region denied all the rumors and clarified it was a fainting incident while performing Friday prayers.

The Prophet's Mosque was built during the first year of the Prophet's migration to Madina, and later it underwent numerous renovations and expansions to reach its present appearance.
Prophet's Mosque was the first place in the Arabian Peninsula to have electrical power. It is one of the holiest places in the world.
The Prophet's Mosque contains the tomb of the Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) and the homes of his wives. The mosque is surrounded by the Baqi cemetery (Jannatul Baqi), one of the most important cemeteries in Madina, which is the burial place of many of the Prophet's companions and followers.
Initially, it had three doors: Bab Atika or Bab Al-Rahma, Bab Othman or Bab Jibril, and Bab Al-Qibla, but there have been many expansions, such that now there are over 80 doors.
On an area of 400,500 square meters, Prophet's Mosque can accommodate more than 707,000 worshipers at peak times.
