The Transport General Authority (TGA) has announced that the corrective period for applying the new identity of vehicles used in transporting cars and towing vehicles will end after 120 days. The new identity was announced in November 2022 and includes unified colors, marks, and information that must be placed on vehicles operating in the sector in Saudi Arabia.

The TGA has given a one-year exemption for those holding valid operating licenses before the date of the actual application of the new identity, which will start on November 26, 2022. The aim of this decision is to develop the services provided to beneficiaries, enhance safety requirements during transportation operations, increase the regulation and governance of the activity, and combat commercial concealment.

The TGA has called on establishments and individuals working in the sector to visit its website (tga.gov.sa) and check the activity regulation for further details. It has also made it possible to communicate with them directly through the unified number (19929) if anyone has inquiries or wishes to submit observations.
