In a significant move, the Transport General Authority (TGA) has announced a hefty SR5000 fine for drivers or designated companies found in violation of regulations pertaining to the use of the national address. Saleh Al-Zuwayed, the spokesperson for TGA, disclosed this information during an episode of the program "Saudi Street" on a Saudi television channel.

1. SR5000 Fine for Non-Compliance:

TGA will enforce a fine of SR5000 on drivers or designated companies failing to adhere to regulations related to the use of the national address.

2. Executive Regulations of the Transport Law:

Al-Zuwayed highlighted that the executive regulations of the Transport Law outline mandatory terms and conditions for designated companies, including the obligation to utilize the national address and make it accessible to customers.

3. Complaint Resolution Process:

Customers have the right to file complaints with companies. If a company fails to respond within seven working days, the complaint can be escalated to the TGA for further action.

4. Enhancing Awareness:

The overarching goal is to raise awareness among users and companies about the importance of using the national address. This initiative aims to expedite the delivery of shipments and orders.
