In Saudi Arabia's new ambitious educational program, titled 'Study in Saudi Arabia,' students and academics from 160 countries will be able to benefit from this program.

On Tuesday, the Council of Ministers issued long-term and short-term educational visas to students, researchers, and academics from around the world.

According to the Ministry of Education, the educational visa scheme is designed to attract students with outstanding talents as well as to raise the quality of the educational process and output of research and innovation.

Besides presenting Saudi Arabia as an attractive global educational destination, the scheme also aims to increase the level of classification and efficiency of Saudi educational institutions worldwide, as well as the role of Saudi Arabia in spreading the values of moderation and Arabic language education.

According to the ministry, the visas tend to attract male and female students, researchers, and international professors and academics to Saudi Arabia. Short-term visas will be available for studies lasting up to a full academic year, and long-term visas will be available for studies lasting more than one academic year.

There are several advantages to the visa for students from 160 countries, according to the ministry. As one of the most important benefits of the program, students do not need a sponsor to pursue their studies. In addition to recording data in nine languages, connecting applications with relevant authorities, and simplifying the procedure for joining higher education in the Kingdom, data will be recorded in nine languages.
