The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, said that the Kingdom has currently providing the additional “stimulant” dose for certain groups, which have been scientifically proven to need it, who suffer from chronic renal failure, or who have organ transplants.

During his call with Saudia Tv, He said that the Ministry of Health is currently preparing and covering the way for the vaccination of age group of 60 years and above and who have completed more than 8 months after receiving the 2nd dose.

- On the possibility of adding a 3rd dose, even if optional, Al-Abdali explained the possibility of adding other categories during the coming period, stating that the Ministry of Health will announce, first of all, if any updates in this regard.
