The Shoura Council demanded the Ministry of Labor and Social Development to make it mandatory for all expatriate professionals to attend and pass a professional program and test before practicing their profession in the Kingdom.
The ordinary meeting of the council chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Shoura Council Muhammad Al-Jefri, called on the Ministry of Labor and Social Development to create employment opportunities for the educationally qualified but unemployed youth in non-profit sectors and to evaluate the experiments of Saudization and evaluation of various labor sectors, Okaz reported.
The council also called on the ministry to make job opportunities to the beneficiaries of its services, in line with the target of the national transformation initiatives for 2020.
The Shoura also demanded the ministry to draw up a strategy to beef up the Saudization of command positions in the private sector in cooperation with the related authorities.
The council called on the ministry to increase its supervisory role in all private sector companies and institutions to minimize the gap in the wages between men and women workers for work of identical nature.
