SFDA Warned Consumers Against Buying And Consuming The Stuffed Grape Leaves

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has warned consumers against buying and consuming the stuffed grape leaves of the Durra brand, manufactured in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for containing excessive level of Carbendazim, a pesticide harmful to humans if consumed above the permitted levels. The SFDA statement added that the product carries the date of manufacture of 13/1/1438 and the date of expiry 12/7/1439. While its operation number is 010, its net weight is given as 400 gm and 1900 gm, its bar code number is 6210241895189.
The SFDA appealed consumers to avoid buying this product and get rid of the product if they have already bought it.
