Saudi Arabia is preparing for unsettled weather as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts severe thunderstorms in various regions until Friday.
The affected areas, including Asir, Al Baha, Jazan, and Mecca, can expect medium to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail.
Additionally, downward winds exceeding 50km/h will add to the intensity. Medina and Hail regions will also experience similar weather conditions on Tuesday.
Other regions, such as Al Qasim, Najran, Riyadh, Tabuk, Al Jouf, the Northern Borders, Al Sharqiyah, and parts of Mecca, are on alert for light to medium thunderstorms and dust-stirring winds.
The General Directorate of Saudi Civil Defence urges caution and vigilance during these weather events, advising the public to seek shelter and avoid low-lying areas prone to flooding.
