Saudi Central Bank Announces Ramadan Working Hours And Eid Holidays

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has announced the working hours of financial institutions during the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha holidays.

Ramadan Working Hours

During Ramadan, banks will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, as per an official statement by SAMA on its "X" platform.

Remittance centers and payment service providers will be available to visitors from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, offering six flexible hours for financial transactions.

Eid Al-Fitr Holiday Schedule

SAMA has also confirmed the Eid Al-Fitr holiday period:

  • Start: Sunday, March 30 (01/10/1446 AH)
  • End: Wednesday, April 2 (04/10/1446 AH)

Eid Al-Adha Holiday Schedule

The Eid Al-Adha holiday will be observed on the following dates:

  • Start: Thursday, June 5 (09/12/1446 AH)
  • End: Tuesday, June 10 (14/12/1446 AH)

Banking Services During Holidays

Despite the holiday schedule, financial institutions, currency exchanges, and payment service providers in Makkah, Madinah, and border areas will remain open to support Umrah performers and pilgrims.

Additionally, selected branches in densely populated areas will remain operational at specific hours to ensure uninterrupted banking services for residents and visitors.

These measures aim to facilitate smooth financial transactions during the holy month and festive periods.
