Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the treacherous attack on Bahrain’s Defense Force along the southern Saudi border, resulting in the tragic loss of several Bahraini soldiers and injuries to others.
In an official statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia extends its heartfelt condolences to the leadership and citizens of Bahrain, as well as to the grieving families of the brave martyrs. We also send our wishes for a swift recovery to the wounded soldiers.
Saudi Arabia reiterates its unwavering support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain. We emphasize the urgent need to halt the continuous supply of weapons to the Houthi militia, prevent arms exports into Yemen, and ensure strict compliance with United Nations resolutions.
It's essential to note that the Arab Coalition has confirmed the martyrdom of an officer and a non-commissioned officer, along with injuries to several Bahraini personnel who were participating in the Restoring Hope operations stationed on the southern border of Saudi Arabia on Monday morning.
Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, denounced the treacherous attack by Houthi-affiliated elements this morning. He described it as a hostile and treacherous act, part of a series of aggressive actions over the past month, including attacks on a power distribution station and a police center in the border area.
Such repeated hostile and provocative actions are inconsistent with the ongoing efforts to resolve the crisis and achieve a comprehensive political solution. The leadership of the Joint Forces of the Coalition reiterates its rejection of these provocations and remains determined to respond appropriately at the right time and place.
