Saudi Arabia is set to take a significant step forward in digital skills development with the launch of a specialized training program in collaboration with SAP Global, the global technology giant. The program aims to enhance and certify local digital skills and to strengthen the Kingdom's position as a regional center for technology and telecommunications.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in partnership with SAP Global, launched the program in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology and several company officials and relevant authorities. The program is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, and it targets individuals in technical fields across leading national authorities, including NEOM, Qiddiya, the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Sports.

Aligned with the Human Capacity Development Program for the Saudi Vision 2030, the "Future Skills" initiative will benefit businesses such as Riyadh Airports, SATORP, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Solutions, Seven, and a group of Saudi Digital Academy graduates. It aims to empower individuals with digital skills and leadership abilities through the provision of training in essential soft skills and the latest technical skills, including data analysis, machine learning and artificial intelligence, metaverse, quantitative statistics, and application development using SAP HANA.

The launch of this program highlights the Ministry's commitment to developing digital skills in the Kingdom and its desire to equip individuals with the tools of the future. The initiative also reflects the Ministry's efforts to position Saudi Arabia as a leader in digital technology and to drive progress towards the Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
