Saudi Arabia Approved Only Four Vaccines Against Covid-19, Sinopharm And Sinovac Are Not In The List Yet

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdali said that there are rumors about deaths among children after receiving Corona vaccines, these are lies and misconception that have nothing to do with reality.

He said that the doses of the Corona vaccine given in the Kingdom have reached distinct levels. There is a noticeable decrease in the curve of Corona infections in the Kingdom, highlighting that vaccines have a significant impact in the decline of critical cases.

- The health spokesman stated that 99% of critically ill Corona infections in intensive cares are those who did not receive vaccine doses.

- Vaccination with Chinese vaccines Sinopharm and Sinovac against Corona virus has not been approved in the Kingdom, adding that only 4 vaccines approved in Saudi Arabia and they are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson.

- He added that, corona vaccines are safe, important and effective at all stages of pregnancy, noting that infection with the virus is dangerous for pregnant women and may expose them to risks.

- Regarding the decrease in infections, the ministry of health spokesman said, there is no relationship between high temperatures and decrease in Corona infections. The cases decreased only due to sticking to the precautionary and preventive measures.
