The Sports Boulevard Foundation (SBF), led by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, has approved designs for the Global Sports Tower, a standout feature of the Sports Boulevard project on Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Road.

Set to be the tallest sports tower globally at 130 meters, the Global Sports Tower will encompass an internal area of 84,000 square meters. It will feature over 30 sports facilities, including the world's tallest indoor climbing wall at 98 meters, catering to climbers of all skill levels. Additionally, the tower will boast the highest running track in the world, offering a 250-meter digitized circuit with stunning views of Riyadh.

This architectural marvel will significantly contribute to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by enhancing the quality of life in Riyadh and positioning the city among the top 10 global economies. The Sports Boulevard project, extending over 135 km, connects Wadi Hanifah in the West to Wadi Al Sulai in the East, featuring green pathways for pedestrians, cyclists, athletes, and horse riders.

The project will cover more than 4.4 million square meters of greenery and open spaces and include up to 50 sports facilities. It will also provide unique destinations and investment zones across an area exceeding 3 million square meters.

The Global Sports Tower will be a distinctive landmark following the principles of Salmani architecture, blending originality and modernity. It aims to promote sports culture, enhance community engagement, and improve the quality of life for Riyadh's residents and visitors.

Launched by King Salman bin Abdulaziz on March 19, 2019, the Sports Boulevard is one of Riyadh’s mega projects dedicated to providing integrated infrastructure, pedestrian pathways, cycling paths, and horse-riding trails to improve urban life.
