As of Sunday, the Riyadh Season display zones began receiving non-masked visitors at full capacity after receiving limited numbers during the last period in anticipation of pandemic precautions.
Riyadh Season visitors do not need to wear masks in open locations during all activities, following a recent announcement by an official source of the Ministry of Interior lifting the precautionary and preventive measures related to combating the Coronavirus pandemic inside the Kingdom.
This new development comes just days before the start of the second academic semester break in the Kingdom, which is likely to increase demand for the season's activities and double the recreational activities in its various districts for both Kingdom residents and visitors.
Since its launch on Oct. 20, the Season has seen heavy attendance at its events, including 70 Arab concerts and six international ones.
Furthermore, there will be 10 international exhibitions, 350 theatrical performances, 18 Arabic plays, 6 international plays, a freestyle wrestling tournament, 2 international football matches, 100 interactive experiences, 200 restaurants, and 70 cafes, which will appeal to attendees of all ages.
