Aqeel Al-Aqeel, the weather analyst at the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), unveiled the upcoming weather forecast for Riyadh, predicting temperatures to dip between 13-15 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
In a discussion with Al-Ekhbariya, Al-Aqeel elaborated that the expected temperature outside the Saudi capital would be 13 degrees Celsius, while it would be slightly warmer at 15 degrees Celsius within Riyadh.
Referring to the NCM's climate report, Al-Aqeel highlighted that the winter of 2023 is anticipated to be warmer than the average temperature by 1 to 2 degrees in the southern regions of Najran and the southern part of the Riyadh region. Similar to the previous winter, this year's winter is expected to bring noticeably warmer conditions across most Kingdom regions.
Al-Aqeel cautioned that some northern regions of Saudi Arabia might experience sub-zero temperatures on certain days. Meanwhile, coastal areas, including the Makkah region, are anticipated to have warm and humid conditions, with the possibility of thunderstorms along the coasts.
