The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a red alert for Makkah city, Jeddah, and five other governorates in the Makkah region, effective from 12:00 am tonight until 1:00 pm on Wednesday. The alerted areas include Rabigh, Khulais, Al-Kamil, Al-Jamoum, and Bahra.

NCM forecasts indicate the possibility of heavy rains, high-speed winds, low horizontal visibility, hail, torrential flows, and thunderclaps in these governorates. Weather fluctuations are expected to persist in most regions of Saudi Arabia until Thursday.

Jeddah, Bahra, Rabigh, Khulais, Allaith, and Qunfudhah in the Makkah region are anticipated to experience moderate to heavy rains on Tuesday and Wednesday. Initial forecasts suggest rainy conditions will continue across most regions of Saudi Arabia until the middle of next week.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense urges the public to exercise utmost caution, avoid flood passages, water swamps, and valleys, and refrain from swimming in these areas due to potential dangers. Compliance with instructions and alerts through official media outlets and social networking sites is strongly advised, considering the likelihood of thunderstorms in most regions of Saudi Arabia until Thursday.
