The outgoing Chinese envoy, Li Huaxin, on Sunday called on King Salman to bid him farewell at the end of his term.  Saudi Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf was also present during the meeting.

On Sunday, the king awarded the Saudi Olympic National Team players with the King Abdul Aziz Medal for the First and Second Classes in appreciation of their performance at the Third Olympic Youth Games in Argentina.

The king congratulated the delegation on their achievement and wished them success in all future events.

Prince Abdul Aziz bin Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, chairman of the board of directors of the General Sport Authority, and chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, Prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdul Aziz bin Musaid, head of the delegation and members of technical and administrative staff attended the reception.

King Salman granted the King Abdul Aziz Medal of First Class to the Olympic gold medalist, Mohammed bin Ayedh Al-Asiri, and the King Abdul Aziz Medal of the Second Class to bronze medals winners Mohammed bin Dhaim Al-Ma'awi and Ali bin Yusuf Al-Othman.
