Announced by Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, the new ferry link will connect Bahrain’s Khalifa bin Salman Port with Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam during the Second Maritime Industries Sustainability Conference in Jeddah. The route is expected to serve both passengers and cargo, reflecting a broader push for stronger maritime connectivity between the two Gulf nations.
