Mother of ‘kidnapped’ baby girl takes to Twitter to appeal to authorities for help
A devastated Saudi wife took to the social networking site Twitter to express her pain and seek help over the alleged ‘abduction’ of her 20-month baby daughter.
She appealed to the security agencies and the Labour and Social Affairs Ministry to help her find her girl, accusing her husband and mother-in-law of kidnapping her.
Amna Al-Malki said that her daughter was kidnapped while she was with her in the city of Jaza by people in a black Toyota car which fled the scene.
She expressed her distress and anguish as she hadn’t seen her daughter for 32 hours.
The mother’s twitter plea caused a mixed reaction among social media users, as some of them expressed sympathy, while other dismissed her story as ‘unbelievable’.
