Saudi Arabia's Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng.  Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi announced that the ministry is targeting 11 new Saudization decisions before the end of this year 2022.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) includes occupations such as Project Management professions, Procurement professions and Food & Drug sector professions, he said during his meeting with the businessmen and women at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh.

Over 2.13 million Saudi nationals work in the private sector as a result of Saudization decisions for sectors, activities, and professions, Al-Rajhi said.

The unemployment rate of Saudi citizens reduced to 9.7% with the high participation of 35.6% of the economy for women, praising the national effort made by the private sector in employment of citizens and differentiate the partnership with businessmen and women to achieve the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.

In the current year 2022, Saudi Labor Law and its regulations were adhered to by 98% of private sector companies. Over 74% of labor disputes are resolved amicably through the management of friendly settlements.

Over 3.8 million work contracts have been uploaded to Tawtheeq, ensuring that employers and employees receive a copy of the document and regular contract. The compliance rate of Wage Protection System has reached nearly 80%.

According to Al-Rajhi, the automation of the ministry's services is part of an ambitious digital transformation program. 127 services are provided through the Qiwa platform, serving more than 3 million users and 1 million companies.

Qiwa platform provides more than 700,000 services per month to beneficiaries without the need to visit service offices, explaining that the ministry expanded the services of Musaned platform from one to more than 35 with 100% automated services, serving over 2 million beneficiaries.

Ajlan Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber Board of Directors, noted in his speech that the private sector plays a major role in achieving Saudi Vision 2030's objectives, the most important of which are Saudization and job creation, at all levels. In partnership and integration with MHRSD, the private sector has contributed to Saudization programs to reduce unemployment.
