The Department of Analysis and Forecasts of the General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection predicted that most of the Kingdom’s regions experiencing dust winds with limited horizontal vision from Thursday to next Monday in the northern, western, central and eastern regions of the Kingdom.

The wind speed will cross  45 km, and the horizontal vision will be reduced to less than 2 km in Tabuk, Al-Jouf, the Northern Border Province, and Hail, and also in Riyadh, Qassim, and the Eastern Province.

On Thursday and Friday, thunder showers are likely to occur in the Northern Border Province, Al-Jouf and Tabuk while light snow fall is not ruled out in the northern edges of Qurayyat, Turaif, and the mountains of Tabuk, the Loz and Arqan mountains on Friday and Saturday morning, accompanied by a significant drop in temperature beginning on Fridaynight at northern and western provinces and also in the central and eastern regions. Temperatures will dip to below zero in Al-Jouf, Northern Border Province, Tabuk and Hail.

Makkah and Madinah provinces including the coastal towns, are likely to be affected by the dust storms that limit the horizontal visibility especiallySunday morning and Monday.
