According to the Saudi Public Prosecution, health practitioners are required to inform the security and health authorities when they suspect patients are criminally infected or contagious.
Through its official Twitter account, the Public Prosecution confirmed that, "Health practitioners practice their profession with a respect for life, safety, and dignity
According to the prosecution, the health practitioner must immediately notify the security, health, and competent authorities if he suspects a patient may be criminally infected or suffering from an infectious disease.
