Following a final court ruling convicting him of violating the anti-commercial fraud system and the trademark system, the Saudi Ministry of Commerce defames a citizen for using his Snapchat account to sell and market fraudulent and counterfeit products (women's shoes and bags).

The Ministry said the tools used in counterfeiting the registered trademarks were also seized, along with the fraudulent products, following an inspection of the violator's headquarters at that time, coordinated with joint security campaigns in the Riyadh region and the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property.

- The Ministry published the ruling issued by the Court of Appeal in Riyadh, which included a fine of 50,000 riyals, the seizure of tools and products used in the crime, and defamation of the publication of the ruling in a newspaper.

A citizen was caught selling fake and counterfeit women's products through his Snapchat account and delivering them to buyers via luxury cars, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, it is keen on protecting and preserving consumer rights, arresting violators of consumer protection regulations, and referring them to the courts for punishment.
