Full vaccination mandatory to attend public events in Saudi Arabia from Oct. 10

The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia stated in a reference to what was previously announced regarding the requirement of immunization starting from August 1, 2021, in order to enter public, private and educational activities, events and facilities and use public transportation.

Based on what the health authorities have submitted the importance of completing the doses of the approved vaccine to control the spread of the virus, especially the mutated strains of corona. For the purpose of maintaining the health and safety of all, the following was decided.

1. Requiring Immune with two doses of approved vaccines starting at 6 AM from Sunday, October 10, 2021, with regard to the following:

* For Entering any economic, commercial, cultural, recreational, sports or tourism activity.

* For Entering any governmental or private establishment, whether to perform business or audit.

* Travel on planes and public transportation.

2. Excluded from the above mentioned points for Categories "Exempted" from taking the vaccine, according to what appears in the “Tawakkalna” application.

- The Ministry of Interior highlighted the need for everyone to stick to the precautionary measures, preventive measures and approved protocols, and not to be careless in that.

- The Ministry explained that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent health authorities, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation.
