The Yemeni forces have made significant progress in Saada with the support of the Arab Coalition forces, according to Col. Turki Al-Malki, spokesman for the Coalition forces.

Addressing a press conference in Riyadh on Monday, he said the Houthi militias even pushed Yemeni women into military confrontation apart from putting children on the front lines.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) held a ceremony on Sunday to celebrate the rehabilitation of the third and fourth batches of children who were liberated from Houthi clutches.

Al-Malki said the military operations are now targeting the Houthi missile depots and launchers that were hidden in several caves and under trees in Saada region. He showed pictures of weapons seized from Houthi militias.

The spokesman said that six ballistic missiles were launched from Houthi areas into Saudi Arabia last week.

As of Monday, the Iranian backed Houthi militias fired 138 ballistic missiles targeting the Kingdom.

Al-Maliki confirmed that the forces managed to liberate the port of Hima, located 125 km from Hodeidah, which was used by Houthis for smuggling weapons.

The Yemeni army intercepted an attack by the militias in the province of Al-Jawf with the support of the Coalition forces. He said that the Coalition forces had begun the reconstruction of areas liberated from the Houthi militias.

Al-Malki also showed shrapnel from an explosion on board a Turkish ship in the Port of Salif on Thursday. The ship, carrying wheat, was on its way from Russia with 23 sailors on board when it came under attack. The Yemeni forces which conducted a reconnaissance operation, found a hole in the left side of the ship. The Coalition forces also inspected the ship and found an internal explosion and the ship was taken to Jazan port for further investigation, he added.
