Bidaya TV channel has suspended several employees pending investigation over a serious blunder which sparked outrage in Saudi Arabia. participant was taking part in an entertainment competition programme aired live on Bidaya channel when he was informed about the death of his father, which shocked him.
The channel management extended condolences to the constant Ibrahim and Al-Awad and his family, vowing to hold those responsible accountable. It suspended employees in charge of preparing and supervising the program pending investigation, announcing that those involved in the blunder would face measures.
