A Saudi Citizen Is Held Over A Road Prank

A Saudi citizen was arrested for throwing boxes with sand packed in them on a road, local media reported.
According to the Saudi police, the unnamed man had posted a video clip online showing him throwing plastic boxes filled with sand on a public road as part of his efforts to make fun of social media users and gain followers.
They said he was prosecuted and legal proceedings were initiated against him.
An image of the suspect handcuffed behind the back was also released by the police.
A number of Saudi citizens and expatriates have been arrested after bragging on social media about committing offences.
