The Ministry of Health’s 937 Service Center received 142,310 calls from throughout the Kingdom last week, officials reported.
According to the ministry, these included 41,895 appointments with primary health care centers, 9,686 reports, 294 transfer requests between hospitals, 37,331 medical consultations, and 53,104 inquiries.
The 937 Service Center provides a range of services, including ministry updates, health services, emergency calls, medical consultations, hospital transfer requests and complaints handling.
The center is considered as one of the ministry’s key initiatives and aims to provide medical services to international standards through its toll-free number. Boosting health care services in the Kingdom is an integral part of the country’s Vision 2030 reform plan.
