The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali said that the booster dose against the Corona virus (Covid-19) is safe and important to strengthen society's immunity.

During the press conference on the developments in confronting the Corona virus, Al Abdali said the existence of safe studies regarding the booster dose, which are necessary and useful in preventing disease, protecting the society and reducing the chances of deaths and entering intensive care units.

- He added that, The booster dose is available to everyone and is important to boost the society's immunity by strengthening the immunity of individuals.

- The spokesman of health ministry said, We tell you from the heart take the initiative to receive the vaccine, considering that most of those whose condition reaches critical care are those who have not completed vaccinations and immunization, We are reaching close to 22 million people completing the vaccination.

- He announced the start of supplying the Pfizer Corona vaccine in preparation for giving it to the age group under 12 years. He expressed his confidence in the safety and effectiveness of vaccines and in the measures taken by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority for vaccinating the children between 5 to 11 years.

- Al-Abdali said that our happiness is incomplete due to the reluctance of some members of society to receive doses of Corona vaccines or their reluctance to complete immunization.
