Visit Visas For Children Can Become IQamas In Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia's authorities said expatriates' children under 18 can convert their visit visas into resident IDs or residency permits, provided their parents hold legal Iqamas.
According to Okaz, the expiry of the expatriate's Iqama doesn't prevent the extension of the visitor's visa.
As per instructions, the total extension of the family visa should not exceed 180 days, the directorate said.
Three days after the visit visa's validity expires, a fine is imposed.
