In response to circulated reports that a Saudi citizen was asked personal questions during a job interview, the ministry's spokesman said on Twitter that monitoring teams investigated the case and "took legal measures against the monitored violations". Details were not provided by the official.
The Saudi media reported that the woman complained about personal questions posed to her during an interview at a private firm.
The questions were about the size of her eyes and her appearance, she claimed.
Saudi Arabia has recently increased its efforts to create jobs for its citizens, and has increasingly restricted Saudis' access to certain jobs.
