After assaulting a money transfer company employee with a bladed weapon, police in the Jeddah region arrested an Egyptian expat who stolen 340,000 riyals.
Jeddah police confirmed that the amount had been recovered and all legal measures taken against him had been referred to the Public Prosecution of the Kingdom.
Riyadh police earlier this week arrested a Yemeni national, a violator of the residency law, and six Saudi nationals who committed robbery, theft, impersonation, and vehicle theft.
They carried out criminal acts such as impersonation, robbery from pedestrians, and theft of copper circuit breakers from buildings under construction by using a stolen vehicle, which was recovered.
A legal action was taken against all the accused and they were referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
