During the departure stage, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reminded all Umrah performers to adhere to the sizes, weights, and specifications for travel luggage. Moreover, it instructed them to communicate with the airline carrier when needed to ensure travel specifications are allowed as well as follow the instructions issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
In addition, the Ministry circulated information to all Saudi Umrah companies regarding the departure times of Umrah performers and the importance of educating them about baggage sizes and dimensions before their departure.
The report points out that this procedure allows Umrah performers to complete their departure procedures more quickly and reduces the waiting time in the departure halls
