According to the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Hajj pilgrims from outside the Kingdom need to take two vaccinations, meningitis and seasonal influenza, before performing the Hajj ritual. They can take these vaccinations 10 days before performing the Hajj ritual.
As per the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Health, the meningitis vaccination must be given at least 10 days before Hajj to anyone who has not received it in the past five years.
It is recommended to take the seasonal influenza vaccination at least 10 days before going for Hajj pilgrimage if you haven't received it before.
In order to perform Hajj this year in the best condition, the Ministry of Health has sent several advices to the candidates.
Exercising 20 to 60 minutes a day and practicing aerobic exercises such as cycling and swimming, as well as gradual exertion and stretching exercises, is recommended by a Ministry of Health report.
These exercises increase physical fitness, strengthen the body, and enable a person to perform the Hajj pilgrimage rituals without fear of health complications.
