After this year's Hajj season concludes, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will open booking for Umrah on July 19.

From Tuesday, Dhul Hijjah 20, people wishing to perform Umrah can book an appointment.

At present, Umrah is restricted to only Hajj pilgrims in order to facilitate the rituals for them, reduce overcrowding, and ensure their safety.

According to the ministry, Umrah will only be performed by Hajj pilgrims until Tuesday, 20 Dhul Hijjah 1443 AH.

Over 90 percent of pilgrims threw pebbles at the Jamarat after the ministry announced the success of the grouping plan. On Monday, after performing the stoning ritual at the three Jamarat pillars, symbolizing Satan, the pilgrims in a hurry left Mina for the Grand Mosque to perform the final Hajj rites, Tawaf Al-Wida (farewell circumambulation).
