Temperatures To Hit 50C During Hajj

The General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection (GAMEP) says temperatures during the 2019 Hajj season are expected to reach 50 degrees Celsius in a few days.
Experts also predict humidity will reach 85 percent and it will make the climate feel even hotter.
Authorities said there was a chance of some rain clouds over Makkah, where pilgrims arrive to surround the Kaaba and visit nearby sacred sites that are visited during the hajj.
GAMEP says winds that could lift dust and a chance of rain, particularly in the afternoon and evening times, over Makkah.
