Saudi District's Power Outage Blamed On Cat

An animal sneaked into a local electric transformer unit and disrupted the power supply to a district in western Saudi Arabia at dawn, according to a Saudi newspaper.
An electric short circuit caused a one-hour outage in Nukhab district in the Taif governorate after a cat entered the transformer at dawn.
Local authorities were notified of the outage by residents.
The electricity maintenance team discovered that the cut was caused by the cat, according to the report.
As of yet, there is no word on what happened to the cat.
