Saudi Border Guards Water Sports Event Concludes

The Border Guards’ third water sports tournament finished on Friday. The final day of the tournament, held on Marjan Island off the coast of Dammam, was attended by the Border Guards deputy director, Maj. Gen. Badr bin Hamdi Al-Jabiri.
In his speech, Al-Jabiri said that such activities encourage a competitive spirit and develop the skills and fitness of participants, as well as promoting water sports.
The tournament was organized in accordance with the directives of the interior minister, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif.
On the sidelines of the competition, an exhibition was held with the participation of a women’s committee, which was intended to raise awareness of maritime safety.
