Saudi Arabian Expats Can Travel To Bahrain Via King Fahd Causeway

General Corporation of King Fahd Causeway has announced the procedures for expats traveling from Saudi Arabia to Bahrain.

Expats departing from Saudi Arabia must have a valid exit re-entry visa, a valid passport and a valid iqama, according to the King Fahd Causeway Foundation's official Twitter account.

The Authority also clarified that entry to Bahrain requires a visa issued through the port for those in higher professions and an online visa for those in lower professions through http://www.evisa.gov.bh for those in lower professions.

There are 146 cabins at Jawazat and Customs on the Saudi and Bahrain sides of King Fahd Causeway, which all operate at their full capacity, as well as the services it provides round the clock.

Rules for traveling across the King Fahd Causeway :

For travel across the King Fahd Causeway, especially for the Corona vaccine, the King Fahd Causeway Foundation has directed that all necessary procedures be provided and fulfilled.

According to the Authority, adults should receive three doses of Corona vaccine, in addition to those who have not been given the second dose for more than 3 months.

Travelers under 16 years of age must receive two doses of the Corona vaccine before traveling to Bahrain. King Fahd Causeway General Corporation clarified that children below 12 years of age must have medical insurance against Covid-19, regardless of their vaccination status.

In regards to domestic workers, King Fahd Causeway confirmed that they must have an "Immune" status in Tawakkalna and accompany the sponsor (son or daughter).
