In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), the UAE reiterated its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed its support for the Kingdom's security and stability.

Saudi authorities are free to take any measures they deem necessary to ensure security and safety of their citizens and residents, the Ministry stated in a statement.

As a result of the security forces in Saudi Arabia's vigilance and efficiency, the Ministry commended the pursuit of a wanted person who detonated an explosive belt during the arrest process, injuring a number of security officials and residents. Furthermore, the statement wished the injured a speedy recovery.
