Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development set Ramadan working hours for private sector companies.

According to the Human Resources ministry's statement on Twitter, working hours for the private sector during Ramadan will be 6 hours for the current year 2022 (1443), and may God accept everyone who fasts and does good deeds.

According to the ministry, this is based on Article 98 of Saudi Labour Law, which states that working hours in the private sector are limited to six hours a day.

School hours during Ramadan for this year 2022 :

In accordance with the flexible system, private and public schools will remain open during Ramadan 2022, and lessons will begin between 9 AM and 10 AM, depending on the school. Each lesson will last 35 minutes.

Classes will begin at 9 AM for universities and high schools, and end according to the academic schedule for each grade level.

Eid Al-Fitr holiday will begin for schools on 25th April and last until 5th May 2022, announced the Ministry of Education.

Working hours for Technical and Vocational training facilities during Ramadan :

Meanwhile, The General Administration of Technical and Vocational Training in Tabuk and Northern Borders has confirmed that the official working hours in all training facilities for the month of Ramadan will be 5 hours, with trainees starting morning training at 10 AM in the morning and ending at 3 PM.

- The administration has stated that the training lecture will not exceed 35 minutes, with respect to the evening application program, the training will begin at 9:30 PM.

During the blessed month, this corresponds to the directives issued by the Foundation to take the training needs of trainees into account, and to allow these colleges and secondary industrial institutes to provide training services at times that are convenient for male and female trainees.
