In the accident, only the plane's pilot died, according to the statement.AIB sent a team to investigate the accident's circumstances and causes.
One of the longest runways in the Kingdom is at Thumama Airport, located 29 km north of King Khalid International Airport.
For members of the Saudi Aviation Club, the airport is a hub of activity. All kinds of activities are practiced there, including horseback riding, four-wheel drifting, general aviation, sports, and spa treatments. There are theme parks, desert picnics, and fast food outlets at the airport.
