Farhan Al-Saud, Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister, said that the relationship with India is a "top priority" because it has grown exponentially. In addition, he said measurable progress is needed in all sectors, especially in economics and trade.

Announcing the strong relationship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the minister said that both leaders want to see actual results, progress in the bilateral relationship.

The relationship with India is a top priority and we need to make measurable progress in all sectors, particularly the economic and trade relationship," the Saudi Foreign Minister said in an interview with President of Observer Research Foundation (ORF) Samir Saran at Raisina 'Ideas Pod'.

The relationship between India and Saudi Arabia has grown exponentially in the last five years, according to Al-Saud.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a very strong working relationship with the Crown Prince, and both of them are very result-oriented in the sense that they both are very result-oriented. While defining the similarities between the two leaders who believe in action, he said that they do not just want a nice talk, they want actual results, progress, which means that our government has a very clear direction.

Putting emphasis on India's rising global status, he said, "India is a fantastically dynamic country with huge potential, and we've seen that especially in the last five years. India's potential is almost unmeasurable

"India has played a significant role in Saudi Arabia's development for several decades due to the large Indian diaspora in Saudi Arabia," he said, acknowledging the fact that the connection existed even before that, given the trade relationship for hundreds of years. Our goal is to build on that connection, on that relationship, in a way that not only benefits us, but also benefits the international community.

Additionally, he pointed out that India's huge size offers great potential, as much of India's trade to Europe passes through the Red Sea.

In addition to being India's primary energy partner for traditional energy sources, we are also looking forward to continuing that into the renewable energy era," he explained.

Saleh Eid Al Husseini, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to India, said earlier that this relationship should be taken to a higher level. The envoy expressed his happiness with the strong and friendly relationship between the two countries during the celebrations of the Kingdom's founding day.

"We are very pleased to have such a strong relationship with our friendly country India," Husseini said, underlining the strong relationship between the Kingdom and India. It has been a long time since we began this relationship and we have been asked to take it to the next level

During his speech on the foundation day celebration, the envoy emphasized the Kingdom's governance and how the youth have been its main focus.

Saudi Arabia is very proud to have a country that dates back to 1727 and this year reflects good governance, and we are focusing on youth for the next generation", said the envoy.

Almost 300 years ago, our country was founded, and this signifies a nation's governance, a nation's equity, and the prosperity of its citizens. In order to bring modernization to the society and to regain its culture at the same time. A 300-year-old state does not exist by accident unless it cares about its neighbours, its people, and its world", said the envoy.
