New Baggage Policies Announced At King Fahd International Airport

The King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, has announced new baggage policies for outgoing flights.

Before heading to the airport, it is important to know the checked baggage policy, according to Dammam Airport Company (DACO). The infographic outlines the guidelines for checked baggage.

Sample of Baggage Allowed :

* A bag with at least one flat surface, within 76 cm in length, 51 cm in width, and 31 cm in height.

* Boxes with a flat surface, within 76 cm in length, 51 cm in breadth, and 31 cm in width.

* Regular shaped travel baggage

Sample of Baggage Not Allowed :

* Baggage with round and irregular shapes

* Irregular shaped bags tied with rope.

* Long or loose strapped luggage.

In addition to normal travel luggage, King Fahd International Airport allows passengers to carry luggage with a flat surface and properly packed boxes with a flat surface.

Round and irregular-shaped baggage, luggage with loose rope, and luggage with long straps were prohibited under the new policy.
