According to the King Fahd Causeway Foundation, the cooperative insurance company is the entity currently approved as the Cooperative Council of Health Insurance for Saudi citizens travelling to Bahrain through King Fahd Causeway.
King Fahd Causeway Foundation announced the following conditions for adult departure
* After receiving three doses of Corona vaccine, the requirement for the 3rd booster dose of Corona vaccine is 8 months, rather than 3 months after receiving the second dose.
* Children under 16 must receive two doses of the vaccine in order to pass through King Fahd Causeway.
* Citizens under the age of 12 must obtain an insurance policy against Corona in order to leave the country.
* Expats coming to Saudi Arabia from another country through the King Fahd Causeway must have a valid iqama, a valid passport, and a representative of the employer or his family as well as medical insurance.
* For domestic workers to enter Bahrain, they need a valid iqama from one of the GCC countries, a valid passport, and the employer or his family to accompany them.
