MBC Group, the Middle East region's largest multimedia conglomerate, inaugurated its sprawling new headquarters complex in Riyadh on Sunday.
Among the guests attending the colorful inaugural ceremony were Chairman of the Board of Directors of the MBC Group Waleed bin Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim, Acting Minister of Media Majed Al-Qasabi, and Minister of Transport and Logistics Eng. Several prominent figures, including media professionals and government officials, were in attendance, including Saleh Al-Jasser.
Saudi Arabia is experiencing a comprehensive renaissance and remarkable development under the wise leadership of Al-Ibrahim, who addressed the ceremony. The leadership is also providing unlimited support to culture, creativity, media, and entertainment sectors.
According to Al-Ibrahim, the MBC Group is striving to become one of the most prominent international media organizations. Global activities will take inspiration from Arab history in the coming years, inspired by the slogan of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman: 'Our ambition is the sky'.
On the occasion, a video featuring the MBC Group's brilliant television career spanning over three decades was presented. MBC Group (Middle East Broadcasting Centre) moved its headquarters from Dubai to Riyadh.
In 1991, MBC 1 was launched in London, and in 2002, it moved to Dubai's Media City. According to the agreement, MBC Group will move its headquarters to Riyadh in 2020 under the Chairman of Riyadh's Media City project Prince Badr bin Farhan.
As part of Riyadh's new creative zone for art, media, and entertainment, MBC Group will gradually become a cornerstone over the next five years.
