Sometimes when you are in need of a ride to get to a critical meeting on time, the transportation app could fail you. In these situations you do not have to be concerned, as Saudis will aid you.

The people of Saudi Arabia are noted for their genuine kindness, which can be seen in their interactions with a variety of people, both Saudis and non-Saudis, residents and visitors.

One of the most recent situations that demonstrate the Saudi graciousness took place between Saudi citizen Mouhammad Alghazzawi, staff member at a hotel in Jeddah, and a foreign guest staying in the hotel. The incident occurred when Alghazzawi requested a car for the guest via passenger transport application for a meeting, but the app failed with the foreigner getting late for his meeting.

To save the day, Alghazzawi took out his car and plied the guest to his destination. This gracious act was the main reason behind the guest's return to the same hotel.

In a widespread video, the guest said: "This is No. 1 service, going beyond expectation and No. 3 this is Saudi hospitality. Welcome to Saudi Arabia and welcome to Jeddah."

Commenting on this incident, Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al Khateeb on Twitter thanked Alghazzawi for his act and said: "This is what we are and this will make us one of the important tourist destinations that the entire world comes to."

A similar situation happened earlier in 2021 between a Saudi tour guide Afaf Alblewi and a foreign tourist who cried for joy following an act of kindness emanating from Saudi generosity and hospitality.

This situation took place in AIUla, where the guide met the tourist who told the guide that she liked her Abaya. The Saudi guide did not hesitate and in a short period of time brought a similar Abaya for the tourist.

In a video capturing the moment when Alblewi offered the Abaya, the tourist started to cry tears of joy for this initiative of generosity and humanity.

At a personal level, different situations highlight the reality of Saudi culture, which is distinguished by hospitality, generosity and kindness to strangers, friends and family.

And at State level, Saudi Arabia's generosity is vital in saving millions of lives around the world, as it ranked third globally among the biggest donor countries of humanitarian assistance in 2021 and topped the biggest donors for Yemen according to the UN Financial Tracking Service (FTS).
