According to the Sabaq newspaper, a heated argument over some family issues resulted in the husband taking out his handgun and shooting his wife in front of their children.
According to reports, the crime occurred in the family home. The husband fled after committing the crime, but later surrendered.
Asir police launched an investigation into the crime and a case was referred to the local prosecutor for further legal action.
