Ex Saudi Minister Dies

Former Saudi Minister of Industry and Electricity Abdulaziz Al Zamel has died. He was the chairman of Enma’a Bank and president of the Sahara Petrochemicals Company, a Saudi joint-stock company established on April 7, 2004.
He served as Minister of Industry and Electricity from 1983 until 1995. Before joining the Saudi Cabinet, he served as deputy general manager of the Saudi Consultancy Firm from 1968 until 1976. Then he took over as vice-chairman of Sabec Bank for seven years – from 1976 until 1983.
